The Director, Revenue Enablement will play a pivotal role in optimizing revenue generation by overseeing all CRM systems and outbound email flows while helping build a high-performing sales team. This role requires a blend of strategic vision, operational excellence, and leadership to drive sales performance and support the company’s mission in the college sports ecosystem.

key responsibilties

  • Oversee and optimize the company’s Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system to ensure accurate data, streamlined processes, and effective tracking of sales pipelines.  
  • Design, implement, and manage outbound email campaigns to drive lead generation, customer engagement, and revenue growth across national and regional brands
  • Analyze CRM data and email performance metrics to identify trends, optimize strategies, and improve conversion rates.  
  • Recruit, hire, and onboard entry-level and mid-level sales team members to build a high-performing revenue team. 
  • Develop and implement training programs to equip sales team members with the skills, tools, and knowledge needed to succeed.  
  • Set clear performance goals, provide ongoing coaching, and conduct performance evaluations to foster a culture of accountability and excellence.  
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to align sales strategies with company objectives and revenue targets.
  • Identify and implement tools, technologies, and processes to enhance sales efficiency and effectiveness.  

qualifictions

  • 5+ years of experience in revenue enablement, sales operations, or a related role, preferably 2+ years of sales management experience
  • Deep understanding of the athlete marketing, sports marketing, media sales and/or sponsorship spaces 
  • Proven expertise in managing CRM and designing outbound email campaigns to grow revenue - preferably at startup brands
  • Demonstrated success in hiring, training, and managing high-performing sales reps.
